Tutoring and Enrichment Policies ​

Students cannot have more than 2 unexcused absences per month. Any additional absences will result in losing a tutoring day. 

 

Minimum Hours of Tutoring Attendance

  • 6th-8th grade: A minimum of 2 hours  

  • 9th-12th grade: A minimum of 1 hour

Requesting to Switch Tutoring Days​

  • If there is room on the requested day, a switch can be made 

  • If there is no room on the requested day, student will be placed on a waitlist 

​

Asking for a Hiatus ​

  • A student may need to request a hiatus or extended absence if it is 2-8 weeks long

  • Students can request a hiatus up to 2 times a year, but they cannot exceed more than 14 weeks total

  • Students may still have other activities they are responsible for attending (postsecondary, leadership or service, etc) even if they are on a hiatus from tutoring
