What is Project: WOW?

Project: WOW is an abbreviation for Watch Out World. It is one of Project: VISION's high school leadership programs where students will develop career readiness skills and get matched with a paid internship in the summer of 2022. In this program, students work on writing and creating resumes, interview tips and strategies, networking, and more. 

Attendance and expectations are required for all students participating in the program. If the expectations are not met, students may be removed from the program.

​Program Coordinator Cecily Smith is the staff lead of Project: WOW (Watch Out World). If your student has a question or concern, they can message Program Coordinator Cecily on the Remind App OR send her an email at cecily@projectvisionchicago.org.

What are the requirements and expectations for this program?

  • Open to students 16 and older 

  • Students will be matched with a paid internship for summer 2022

  • Students must have responsibility and organizational skills

  • Students are required to attend meetings 
     

How do I sign my child up for this program? 

Your child should have signed up during the high school orientation in August, but please have your high schooler reach out to Cecily to determine if there is availability for remaining spots.
